I ordered a pool cover from them price was 89.00 dollars they Change me 129.00 .when it arrives it was a pool net. Had to take the issue up with PayPal a month later still waiting for a refund. And they don't reply back to there emails

Don't believe the website when it says your pool cover is in stock because, most likely, it isn't. Also, don't believe the call center rep when they say that "it's been shipped" or "you'll be receiving an email in 24-48 hrs regarding the status". Truth is, the call center can do very little; they don't know where the vendor is located, they don't know when it will ship, and they can't provide a tracking number. This company is poorly managed and I expect will be going out of business very soon.

Last fall we purchased a winter pool cover. ($250.00)
It had a 10 yr warranty.. had 2 holes after 1 winter. We attempted to rectify the situation. Contacted the warranty department in July.. after multiple calls and attempts.. we were told we would be contacted 24-72 hours... now is September 20 and still no answer. We are changing companies.

Terrible experience—I ordered algaecide but accidentally ordered 2 other items that I had in my cart but didn’t intend to purchase. After learning of my error I called within an hour to cancel order but person said items were already shipped and I was out of luck. Then he told me he would try to stop order. However items were shipped to my home and I sent them right back. I was later refunded, however I was still charged for shipping for a total of $25! Outrageous. Do better Dohenys!

Absolutely pathetic customer service. Paid $2000+ in installation fees on a pool that started leaking several inches a day after less than 60 days of use. They would'nt come look at it without charging us. Turns out Doheny's sold us a warranty they don't stand behind. If I had to do it over again I would go to Hansen's.

We have used our new pool for 3 months. It has a slow leak on the north wall. There are no holes, but a weak seam. Zachary, the manager, will not send someone out to look at the pool to have it serviced. There is a one year warranty, but they do not stand behind it. Zachary's response was to take out the liner, pay for a new one, and send the old one back to the manufacturer. If they determine it's a defect, then they will reimburse for the liner. This is very poor business.

I bought a few things from Doheny. Before I even had a confirmation email, I realized they didn't describe an item I ordered, and found that it doesn't work with my pool. So I called them.
In the call, they couldn't find my order. Their systems are slow, so it took several minutes before my order showed up. They said they changed my order. Cool, right? Wrong.
They called me from another location, saying I would have to pay to ATTEMPT to stop the wrong order, as they had already shipped.
How do you ship sooner than customer service can see an order?
They claimed they sold try to stop the shipment and get me the right item. They didn't.
Items arrive. I contact Doheny. They want me to pay to return the dang items.
If I hadn't been trying to get the order fixed within minutes of my mistake, I wouldn't be upset. The lies, ancient ordering systems, and craptastic customer service certainly have made this my first, and last order. Ever.

Tldr; Doheny has terrible customer service and slow, outdated systems, as well as incorrect descriptions of items. Don't buy from them.

Are years of using them as our exclusive pool supply vendor, horrible customer service (in India), undelivered shipments, and complete indifference to the issues have caused us to find alternate sources. I strongly suggest trying a different source.

Be very careful with your credit card with them I ordered a pool heater and within 2 minutes called make to make a change
They took my credit card info again and sent the right one along with the 1st one even after promising that would not happen.
I am out $2900 and they don’t want to correct it I had to get Bank of America involved before they would listen.

According to the bank this is a common thing with them!!!! Many complaints!!!
I now have the one in a box on my driveway they won’t take away.
I’ll never trust them with my credit card again!!!
