Overall very good experience. What really speaks about any hotel or business is how they handle a customer issue. My room was out of hair conditioner. While I’m the lobby, I notified the desk and they said it would be taking care of during the day. Next morning, it had not been filled. It was a bit frustrating. I went to the front desk and there was Terraine. Probably some of the best customer service. Super friendly and he apologized for the mistake (we are all human). He personally saw to it that it was taken care of immediately, ensured I had all fresh towels (I didn’t even ask) and then came and found me at breakfast and comped my meal. He went above and beyond and his fun friendly attitude made my visit a memorable one.

Near restaurants and grocery store

Rooms here are nice, and the hotel is much bigger than it appears. The guy working the front desk was helpful when I ran into issues with the internet barely working.

I took off 2 stars because even after paying for "high speed" internet I was still getting only 2 mbps and the parking charge was not mentioned when I checked in albeit their parking charge is less than other hotels in the area.

Desde que llegas al lobby te sientes muy cómodo, el trato de todos los empleados con los que tuvimos contacto fue muy amable y respetuoso, son bilingües lo que les da un punto extra, las habitaciones muy cómodas y limpias, el servicio de comida, muy rico, también con personal que te atiende en todo momento, además del servicio de shuttle al aeropuerto que te hace que tengas todo lo que necesitas, recomiendo ampliamente el hotel.

The winner of the all-time worst front desk experience goes to the young female today at 2pm (she was left alone at the front desk on Saturday 09/08). Never have experienced such a lack of genuine customer service and a desire to help anyone. No hello, no how can I can help you. I was told that "no one's checking in early. See all these people waiting." In the end, I'm sooooooo glad we had the wrong location. Please Hilton train her on basic skills. She was pure awful!!

Front desk personnel need to be better representatives of the company. As a first line representative, the guy needs to iron his shirt and check his attitude. If you don't enjoy what you're doing, go do something else. You won't get commensurate status recognition from him either. I thought HGI San Diego was bad, now I found something worst.

Don't take Room 134. It's right next to the fitness center, and you'll hear the nonstop sound of a treadmill when in used.
