Hilton Garden Inn/ LAX El Segundo

They left me at LAX waiting for the shuttle for nearly an hour... in mid-afternoon. Excuse after excuse, but never sorry. I was on a tight timeline for today, being in town less than 24 hours, and they've ruined my schedule. I've watched at least 5 cycles of the other local hotels coming through. Sooo tired and angry!!! Then I had to wait 10 minutes at the check-in desk on top of that, behind just one couple. Pretty hotel, a shame

But then the next morning, I had reserved the return shuttle for 7:30. I sat at a breakfast table near and facing the door. I walked to reception at 7:30 and asked when the driver would arrive, and she said he had just left!!! No one announced he was there or called for my name! I would have had to be watching the door nonstop to see the moment he pulled up silently outside and then left before the appointed time!!! Now I will be 30 minutes later to the airport, I am beyond furious. Photo is me standing at LAX with no ride.

Tee, who has the night auditor during my stay, was incredible. Accommodating. True definition of hospitality. Deserves a raise. Also, I believe his name was Gabriel, he worked both PM (on 10/31/23) and AM shift(on 11/01/23) also an incredible representation of hospitality. Friendly, welcoming, charming. I hope I got his name right.
Housekeeping did not miss a beat.

Customer service can use improving

In town for a game at SoFi and stayed here. Unimpressed overall. Upon check-in the front desk was trying to explain charges to us but couldn't delineate between a fee and deposit (for incidentals). Getting an accurate description of total charges was like working through advanced calculus with a first grader.

For $200 a night I expect an adequately clean room; our room was anything but. Stains on the carpet, stains on the comforters, such extensive hard water deposits on the shower head it sprayed all over the place. Every time we left the room the entire hallway on our floor smelled like weed. The outdoor patios were littered with drink glasses and trash from the night before. Just generally unimpressed with the conditions of the hotel.

Breakfast was decent, but make sure you get a voucher from the front desk or it is a paid service. Location is good for proximity to the major venue (SoFi), but otherwise in an industrial area. Expect a significant walk to get to restaurants and other attractions in the area. They do offer a shuttle to the stadium.....for $40....to take you 5 miles. A Lyft was $12.

If you are headed to a game or concert at SoFi, seek accommodations elsewhere.

Our group’s feedback is that this hotel is purely average. One room had a clog in the bathroom sink that never got resolved over the course of 2.5 days. Front reception not overly helpful and billing issues still not resolved. Complimentary coffee and water frequently empty. Bartender Bill the highlight of the stay.

Not happy. Here for business and the computers don't work, WiFi doesn't work.

Great location. $25 per night for parking. Room is not clean has lots of ants.
