Tonsor

I am from Louisiana and could not find anywhere that would let me walk in. I called Tonsor and they said, “ no problem , come on in. “ this was a nice experience for something simple as a haircut. A very comfortable place with a lot of talent.

This was a great experience filled with great conversation and an abundance of pampering. At the end I had a great haircut and an even better story check them out

Thank you google! Had google not put Tonsor near the top of the list when I was searching for "best straight razor shave near me" I may not have found the coolest barber shop downtown Vancouver... AND... THANK YOU Shai, for the great shave! Awesome job! Again, apologies for my coarse facial hair. Lol

Shai was super detailed on each area of my face & neck and had a very gentle style, so it was a comfortable experience.

Normally I don't fall asleep during a shave, but I was so relaxed (my first time there even) I dozed off twice.

The shop is bright, clean and everyone working was great! Unique music too!
5 of 5 stars and I'll be back next month for my monthly wookie facial hair clean-up.

Kind of place you go to if you want to get taken care of in a relaxed, friendly setting. Excellent hair cut and attention to detail, hot shave followed by cooling towel, more attention to detail, friendly banter.

Hanif is a true gentleman, and Shai, who cut my hair, is both great at her profession and is super nice. They got me in right away as I'm from Seattle, but I'll be growing my hair out just to come back!

Reasonable and fair prices, worth the time/cost to leave feeling great. You can tell the owner (and apprentice) loves their work.

Hanif gave me the best haircut of my life. He was a great conversationalist, which is a huge plus for me when it comes to barbers. I am excited to come back to try a sleeper shave and haircut before my wedding. 5 stars for a great environment, vibe, and above all haircut. Dopest Barbershop in the world.

Just had my first beard trim since COVID. It was amazing! Best beard trim and shave I have ever experienced. Conversation was lively and fun. Environment is clean, tasteful, and the chairs look antique. Also has his own line of products like beard balm and oil. He only takes cash which adds to the old time barber shop meets today experience.

Incredible. 5 stars. Walked in 2 mins late, tired and dehydrated… so they offered me water, then went and got me an americano from down the street. Incredible.

There is no better. Hanif is a true artist. I found the shop when I lived in Downtown and still come even after I moved. He knows how to give a haircut like nobody else, and pays attention to even the smallest details. I am thankful.
