A must do tour when you visit Juneau!!

The Tracy's Arm Fjord cruise presented absolutely gorgeous scenery, including 2 stunning glaciers. It was a smooth boat ride. The boat was not very comfortable however, offering passengers very little room in the cabin. The bathroom situation on the boat was ridiculous, with no toilet seat, no place to turn around and a hose to use to flush. The captain did have to stop twice on the way out to fix the boat. The only wildlife we saw were seals and mountain goat. We went on another short cruise in Alaska on a much better boat for a cheaper price.

We had such a wonderful day exploring Tracy Arm through Adventure Bound Alaska tour. The boat cruise was from 8 am to 6 pm and we were blessed with an excellent weather. We saw orcas, seals, birds in the wild, waterfalls, amazing landscapes, icebergs, and glacier. Hearing the cracking and creaking of Sawyer glacier and seeing the thunderous glacier craving was an experience I'll never forget. The captain was amazing for taking us up close the waterfalls and maneuvering the boat around to get us more photo opportunities and views of glaciers, icebergs and wildlife. We were so bummed that the Glacier Bay tour was already closed for the season but we're glad that we did this tour instead. This tour is a must do when visiting Juneau!

It won't let me explain why I'm only giving two stars I guess!
The vessel was overcrowded, the captain was rude, the GUESTS on the boat were rude, there was no space and people were pushing me, and we got way too close to the wildlife for their comfort. I guess maybe my other review was too detailed?! Look at TripAdvisor, they published me, in full.

The nature was unbelievable and the tour went very smoothly. That said, the condition of the boat (lack of cleanliness, particularly in the bathrooms) took away from fully enjoying a long day on the water.

ABSOLUTELY EPIC ADVENTURE! Captain Steve is AMAZING! He got us as close as safely possible to the glacier, ice bergs, and seals. It was truly the most incredible day. The crew were so lovely! I live and work in Juneau and this experience gave me a newfound beauty for this area. This is a MUST DO if you want to experience the most magical day of your life!

This was a wonderful trip, probably my favorite activity in Juneau. The captain and the crew were very knowledgeable, professional and were excellent travel companions. The food on the boat was good and very reasonably priced.
I can't say enough about our captain who got us as close to the glacier as safety would allow and then cut the engines for an hour while we drifted with the ice and wildlife. It was magical! In addition he got us great views of whales, icebergs, waterfalls and more. He had been driving the same boat on the same route since 1978 and it showed! The wealth of knowledge and experience greatly enhanced our trip. I highly recommend this trip. Awesome!!!
