DO NOT USE RESTORATION DOCTOR. We had a flood in our basement when we were out of town and we called them to get the water out. They were prompt and said I needed to put down a credit card in order for them to come pump out the water. They assured me that they would work with my insurance company on the charges and reimbursement. This could not have been further from the truth. They charged my credit card without me seeing an estimate and refused to talk with my insurance company. The charges according to my insurance company should have been $4,500. They charged me over $20,000 and refused to even return my calls. My insurance company, Travelers Insurance, said this company is notorious for doing this. They prey on people in a difficult situation and then just charge their card with unethical charges and refuse to even discuss them. Please save yourself the heartache, anxiety and money and DO NOT USE THEM.

I called Restoration Doctor and within 20 minutes, a van driven by the owner of the company pulled up with a water pump, blowers, dehumidifiers, etc. He triaged the situation, assessed the damage, took photos and water readings, and set up their equipment in an attempt to stop any potential mold from forming (none ever did). The next day a team from the company came back early in the morning to continue the cleanup operation. I was amazed throughout the process at their knowledge, empathy, and professionalism. They helped turn what was a horrible situation into a manageable experience that we can now look back on and laugh

Steve came out on short notice after we noticed mold and leakage in a storage closet. He was right on time, extremely honest and very reasonable with his quote. Steve offered us great advice that would help us save money and I was blown away by his honesty. He had every opportunity to upcharge us and scare us into an expensive repair, but he was honest about what needed to be done to repair it and the quote was very reasonable.

I love that the estimate to come out was FREE, and that they didn't try to swindle us into paying anything. Steve showed up on time and immediately went to work investigating the potential problem. He searched the problem areas as well as took the extra time to go under the house AND take pictures and videos, and didn't rush out...he really seemed to care about helping us!

Definitely recommend this company for any potential mold situations! And ask for Steve.

I was incredibly impressed by their response time in scheduling an appointment and how polite they were on the phone both during scheduling and day of appointment. In fact, even my technician called me when he was 30 minutes away to confirm the time. Seems like they understand how busy customers are, and to stick to appointment times.

The Restoration Doctor crew is the nicest, quickest & most professional out there. I called them onsite after my refrigerator broke. They were onsite within a few hours, and worked faster than any company I've run into. I would highly recommend Restoration Doctor to anyone for their mitigation, remediation and repair jobs. My experience working with this company has been great. Their work speaks for itself. They are very professional and very fast. They kept the project moving forward. Steve at the office were extremely helpful with all the paperwork and answered any questions I had right away. Steve is a master at his craft and I'd trust him to work on my projects anytime. I am very impressed with this company. Quick and friendly online quote experience, easy to schedule the appointment and they had next day availability. Our technician, called before showing up to verify we were ready and he showed up on time. He had a TON of knowledge and cool gadgets to test stuff and answered all of our silly questions with experience and patience but also had a very friendly and fun rapport. Thankfully we didn't need further work done and I feel confident that what he told us was accurate. I'd definitely recommend Steve from Restoration Doctor.
