A tradition continues... Mama Vitale's Italian food and cooking at it's best! Mama and papa Vitale's never ending drive to prosper and succeed began with a small vegetable stand in 1928 on the corner of Rice Street and Little Canada Road, and in 1939 they opened a root beer stand out of their home. After a tornado, fire and the Venetian Inn being torn down for a new area development, two of the Vitale brothers, Joe and Jim, reopened in the present location in 2002, in an effort to carry on the family tradition. In 2006, Connie LoBaido Marchio (Mama Vitale's granddaughter) became part owner with Joe. In 2011, Joe obtained Connie's interest and, with his daughter Lisa and other dedicated employees, will continue to make your dining or catering event an enjoyable experience.

Had the Fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce obviously from a can or jar. The noodles a few minutes short of al dente. The bread had no discernable taste. Won't go back.Report

Food always tastes great and the service is outstanding!Report
Really cute laid back vibe. The patio is so cool. They're growing grapes, peppers, and tomatoes. The food was in large portions. My kids loves it, but I felt the chicken in the Alfredo was rubbery and the pasta had a lot of garlic. We also tried the brownie a la mode which was not warm like we thought, so it made it pretty rock hard with ice cream. Kids liked it though. Price was not too bad either. Staff was friendly.Report
