A tradition continues... Mama Vitale's Italian food and cooking at it's best! Mama and papa Vitale's never ending drive to prosper and succeed began with a small vegetable stand in 1928 on the corner of Rice Street and Little Canada Road, and in 1939 they opened a root beer stand out of their home. After a tornado, fire and the Venetian Inn being torn down for a new area development, two of the Vitale brothers, Joe and Jim, reopened in the present location in 2002, in an effort to carry on the family tradition. In 2006, Connie LoBaido Marchio (Mama Vitale's granddaughter) became part owner with Joe. In 2011, Joe obtained Connie's interest and, with his daughter Lisa and other dedicated employees, will continue to make your dining or catering event an enjoyable experience.

Add ReviewA lovely family owned restaurant with good food and very personable staff. Kid friendly menu and they were flexible about making changes due to dietary restrictions. Pretty reasonable prices and I really welcomed not being in your typical corporate owned restaurant. Seems like everyone who came in knew the staff. So glad our family stumbled upon this little place as we will certainly return.Report

Food was gross, the lady was very rude. Treated us poorly.Report
Charming and personal. Family owned which is nice to see. The pasta dish (Tortellini Rosa) I received from there was absolutely stunning. The chef's expertise is quite apparent here.Report
Have always enjoyed our meals here! Nicest staff, great food, a real family dinner atmosphere. Love supporting small businesses like LIttle Venetian. They have a ton of repeat business because it's always good food. I remember growing up with the bigger Venetian restaurant around on Rice St. Nice some long standing family businesses are still around. Hope you're around for a LONG time!Report

Are you looking for a restaurant that has fantastic authentic Italian food? Little Venetian was the "Hot" place for our parents and grandparents. Unfortunately, Supper Clubs rarely exist but thankfully the food lives on at The Little Venetian. This is the place that constantly wows me by how wonderful the food is. The specials are magnificent and hearty. If you're not sure what to try, start with the spaghetti and meatballs and work your way through the menu. You will not be disappointed.Report
