Wauchula State Bank has served the Florida Heartland since 1929 as a family-owned, locally managed community bank. In May 1932, J.W. Crews, Sr. acquired Wauchula State Bank and today the bank is still owned and led by the Crews Family. J.W. Bill Crews Jr. serves as Chairman for Crews Banking Corporation and Vice Chairman for Wauchula State Bank, with his grandson, J.W. Jake Crews IV, serving as CEO of Wauchula State Bank.
