This Charlestown local hang out becomes most people's favorite winter spot when the weather turns cold. The Warren Tavern is one of the oldest restaurants and bars in the city of Boston, and proudly tout themselves as a meeting place for the Patriots during the Revolution. The Warren Tavern not only has a happening social scene filled with 20 and 30 somethings, but the food on the menu is a comfort seekers dream. Creamy chowder, French onion soup, huge burgers that are the talk of the town, and a variety of salads stock the menu. One of the best places to visit in this part of the city! Go on Wednesday nights, because Greg the bartender has to be one of the best and funniest in Boston. Built circa 1780.
