Derecho left us, like many, with damages to our home, inside and out. It was difficult to find a trustworthy contractor. I heard about T.E.A.M. Builders from a co-worker and contacted them right away after looking at their Facebook page. Kim was really sweet! She emailed me information, let me know what was required from me, and scheduled a meeting. John came to our home to assess the damages, got us an estimate, and worked with our insurance company to get things squared away so we could get started on repairs.
John was absolutely amazing to work with. He answered all my questions- there was a lot of them! He was very quick to respond. He called me with updates often and always kept me in the loop with things.
All the crews that came to repair damages were amazing; roofing/siding/gutters, drywall, and insulation crews. They were always here early, worked hard and were fast, they always cleaned up after themselves, and were very respectful and professional. They did a really great job. I couldn't be happier with the repair work they did.
If you're looking for a contractor, 10/10 recommended T.E.A.M. Builders! They're an amazing group of people who can really do it all.

Team Builders did an awesome job replacing our deck. The company owners totally understand customer service and their employees do too. They kept us informed, worked hard and constructed our deck as if it were their own. They maintained a clean worksite and were picky about details. Besides all that, they were a fun bunch who all worked together well. We highly recommend Team Builders. You can check out our project on their Facebook page.

When I met with Nick the project consultant he listened to what I wanted and from there talked over the options and explained all aspects of the project.Nick was very personable and pleasant, Though I never met the installers, I never once had to clean up after they finished.Even during our walk thru at the end of the project, Nick listened and explained to what I had concerns with. His concern was always let's make you happy. I would definitely recommend TEAM Builders.

Took out my old tired fence and replaced it with an amazing privacy fence! Loved the work they did and the job was done very quick which both of my dogs appreciated :)

Team builders was great! I talked to nick on Monday about fencing my back yard in and Tuesday he was at my house for a quote. By Thursday the materials were sitting in my yard!it only took the crew a day to install the fence!

Jacob, Thank you so much for the review! We were happy to be able to get the job done quickly for you and meet your expectations!

They have done other smaller jobs for us in the past and they were timely. We had our basement remodeled end of dec-march 2021. Their direct staff that did the framing were great. We were disappointed by their subcontractors. First off while priming the wall they got paint splattered on our pocket door at the top of the stairs, when they put dry wall up the screws are too long and poke out inside the frame on unfinished side of utility. They had to reorder the doors after they were chopped off at the wrong height.They initially did not cut a whole for the ac return, and then had to repair a hole that was left for a few weeks after they did cut it. The ac vents were cut too large at first, and after they were fixed they didn't put the vent cover back up. We opted to do the painting for the walls, but the sub contractor splashed white all over the wall and either decided they wouldn't fix it because they didnt paint it initially or were going to take weeks to come back out. Their subcontractor on more than one occasion told Team Builders they were coming over and they just didn't show up or stay late like they requested. They seemed to have multiple jobs going on at once (framers were called off our job to help at the start) that were bigger and got done before ours. Some of these seem small but this was not a cheap remodel. We have referred many people over the last 3 years to them, and think we'd have to actively warn people away at this point.

Update- They will come back out and fix any problems you have though so that helps! Our doors wouldn't shut after the carpet went in and they came out right away to fix the doors when I contacted them.

Megan, we are sorry to see you changed your review rating for us. Although it may have been an experience that didn't go as expected, did we not show back up and fix everything you asked of us? We completely apologize and after finding out about these problems from subcontractors (that we are no longer working with for reasons listed above) We feel as if we came back out and gave you our time and attention to get things fixed and the way that you wanted. We are sorry you feel that way

We had an overhang put on our deck. This involved tying into the existing roofline. It didn't seem terribly easy, but they tied it into the roofline exactly as we wanted with no real issues. They worked with the Cedar Falls inspection group to make sure all of their needs were met. It looks great, and the quality has held up for over a year now!
