I have always dreaded buying a car from a dealership. The salesperson typically takes your phone number and incessantly calls you to pressure you into a sale, usually in a vehicle they are trying to move and with options that you don't need. To make the experience worse, if you decide to buy the car the salesperson disappears to "check with the manager to see if they can make a deal". Once that experience is over the push for after market sales for items you certainly don't need begins with the "financial office". And if you choose to buy from a private seller, you have to trust what they say about the car , and they may not have the information or experience that you need to be reassured that you are purchasing a quality vehicle. My 2008 Porsche turbo cabriolet was flooded during one of our most recent flash floods. Heartbroken, I searched on-line every day to find another Porsche to get into. Then I found Select Motor Cars. They had a pristine 2013 C4S with 5K miles on it. When I went to see the car it was everything Steven (the owner) said it would be. In addition every car that I saw in their inventory, was quality, high end and it was clear they were only selling quality vehicles. I had confidence that I was working with an honest and sincere business man. The transaction was simple, unencumbered by unnecessary pressure and sales tactics. I would strongly recommend buying from them. Don't waste your time searching through other sites. Check them out first.

very overpriced. they sold me a broken car and i had to take them to threaten them with court for them to take the thing back. owner is a complete degenerate with a childish temper. shop elsewhere.

Don't shop here, take your money elsewhere they will steal your money and they sell broken lease returns

Buying a high end used car requires a leap of faith but no regrets on our purchase from Select. We really enjoyed working with Steven whose candor, enthusiasm, attention to detail and no pressure sales approach, left us glad to give him our business. Made us feel comfortable and helped us arrange independent pre-purchase inspection. We truly bought a special vehicle and it was delivered immaculately detailed and running great. Our titling process was seamless despite registering out of state. Price was fair and no hidden costs or surprises. All information provided was accurate and backed up. Overall great experience and would use again.

I have purchased a lot of vehicles over the years but I've never had a car buying experience like this! I'm located in Va and my car buying experience was almost as if I purchased in state. Steven is a total class act!! I can't rave enough about him... He made me feel very comfortable for my first out of state car buying experience. Very informative, understanding, patient, and caring. Once my purchase was comolete the shipping company I decided to use was backed up because of so many customers for 2 weeks. Steven kept in constant contact with me while also ensuring me that my vehicle was perfectly fine and sleeping inside. Once my car was delivered it was as spotless as the pictures suggested. Even when I did notice two very mild issues I took it to my local dealer and Steven/Select Motor Cars took care of it and I'm greatly appreciative of that. I could go on and on about this company as a whole, just know that if you're ever in search for a high end vehicle at a great price and you don't want your quality compromised Select Motor Cars is where you would want to shop! If I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks again to Steven and the entire staff there!

Recently purchased a BMW i8 from Select Motor Cars. I had an excellent, no nonsense purchase experience. Price was agreed upon prior to test drive, which saved a lot of annoying on-site haggling. The salesman (Steven) was helpful and professional, and did not subject me to the super annoying good cop/bad cop salesman/manager game. The car was in immaculate condition and once I agreed to move forward, the process was extremely organized, straightforward and professional. If you are looking to purchase a luxury car and want to deal with a dealership that will respect instead of wasting your time, I highly recommend them.

Customer service is the worst that I have ever seen. Was looking for a certain spec vehicle. Came across one on the Select Motor Cars website. I immediately reached out on a Sunday night. Received a text back that the car was at the warehouse in PA and in order to get it to the Deer Park location they wanted me to wire 1k. I told Steven I would put it on a CC and not wire it as I have never done business with them before. He said he would then get the car to NY and with the snow would be delayed. Steven said the car was pristine and almost brand new as it had 2K miles on the vehicle. I was consistently reaching out to Steven about the car and when it would be onsite so I could come down and see it. During this time I already had the check waiting from my credit union and just needed a bill of sale. Saturday night received a text from Steven that the car arrived. I said can I come down on Sunday. He stated they were closed. I said ok how's Monday. He stated we are getting snow. Thats all he said. The next day at 11am I sent a text to Steven saying, Hi Steven are you around I want to come down to see the car. No response for the entire day. Today (Tuesday) I get a text we took a deposit on the car.....Instead of a deposit you could have had a check for the car, but the poor communication and poor customer service lost a customer for ever. This is not the way to do business. My family and friends, some who know the business will be sure to hear about this experience. Thumbs down.

Cliff, I'm sorry you feel badly. This vehicle was online with multiple inquiries. We had a person from out of state commit to the vehicle with a wire transfer a day before you we're planning on visiting to LOOK at the car before you decide if you want it. I did give you the same option days before. You chose not to Unfortunately, it's a 1st come 1st service Respectfully Steven

What a car buying experience should be. Steve Kaufman was low key and laid back answering any and all questions freely. I visited several times prior to my purchase and he could not have been nicer. The selection of vehicles is beyond impressive. The quality of presentation is first rate, down to the finest detail. If you like cars, this is your candy store.
