Chula Vista new home inspection:
We recently had Joe come in to inspect our new home despite it being a new construction since…ohh well..I wanted to cross all the Ts. Joe came across as someone who is very knowledgeable and I couldn't have asked for a better person for the job at hand. He did an extremely good (and a prompt) job of putting together a thorough inspection report for our builder which helped expedite the overall process. I would highly recommend Joe!

Thank you so much for recommending us! Glad you mentioned about the new construction home inspection. A lot of people tend to skip it since they think it's a new construction and everything should be perfect, but we are glad you did your due diligence and noticed what a good idea it was.

Saved us thousands in repairs.

Our inspector came out and was so knowledgeable! In less than 5 minutes in, he showed us that literally EVERY pane of glass in the windows were defective (fogged dual pane glass that obscures the view). It's weird because we should have noticed that but just didn't because when you're buying a place you just don't think about that. The inspector recommended further evaluation by a glazing company and it was nearly $20,000 to make the repairs! We were able to get the credit from the seller. In the first 5 minutes of our inspection we made nearly $20k!!!And our inspector pointed out many other useful things. If you're in the market use this company, you won't be disappointed

Great experience with a company that knows how to inspect homes. Completed in. timely manner & the detail they provided for each issue found was great. I wouldn't buy a home without using them again.

I've worked with Joe professionally and have used him for my own personal home inspections. He is very meticulous about how he conducts his inspections and observations of a property. His reports are also very detailed and, that on its own, sets him apart from other inspectors. Joe is amazing at what he does! My realtor friends told me this is the best home inspection company in San Diego. So I used them for a full home inspection even though I was originally only in need of a foundation inspection. The price was competitive with other companies I researched. The inspection report was so impressive and there were quite a few items that needed repair. We had no idea there was heavily corroded gas piping beneath the house. This could have been a future leak resulting in fire, possibly even an explosion as the gas piping was next to a furnace with an exposed pilot light! Money we'll spent. We highly recommend this company

I hired this home inspection company for our last two house purchases. I paid extra for them to drive to Long Beach which is outside of their normal service area. I didn't mind because I wanted the best and they were highly recommended by some close friends who work in the real estate biz. Both of the homes we purchased were raised foundation which requires the home inspector to "suit up" and crawl between the ground and floor joists, very tight under both houses. On both occasions the inspection revealed important issues that needed to be fixed or planned for future replacement. Using their awesome inspection report, our realtor helped us negotiate a substantial credit for leaky cast iron waste lines and other problems we had no idea existed. This is probably the best money I ever spent. These houses looked perfect but yet there were issues. Thank you San Diego Home Inspection, Inc. we'll be hiring you for our next (hopefully) Encinitas home inspection. Would highly recommend this company.

I used San Diego home inspection to check out a craftsman home built in the 1920s and I'm definitely glad I did. Andy came out and went the extra mile with his inspection. His knowledge and thoroughness genuinely impressed our realtor and she immediately wanted to use him for future referrals. He went through everything with a fine comb and went the extra mile. The entire time I felt like it wasn't just another job for him, he truly wanted discover everything about the house to make sure we knew what we were getting into. At the end of inspection, he gave a very professional run down and the written report was very detailed. When it came to getting actual contractors out based off the findings in the report, those contractors were extremely impressed with what Andy had found as they said most contractors would just glance over a lot of the things he found and wouldn't pay it much attention. The chimney contractor said that what he found is usually missed all the time and that home inspectors don't even tend to check what he found. The foundation contractor was surprised he even went into a tiny crawl space to take a real look at what was going on down there. Bottom line I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH! Ask for Andy and you know you can have peace of mind before buying your home. Thanks San Diego home inspection!
