About Prowers Medical Center

Rowers Medical Center is owned and operated by the Powers County Hospital District. The District is governed by a board of directors elected by the citizens who reside in the district (Powers and Baca Counties). Although the district receives tax support, in order to maintain our high quality state-of-art healthcare services, we are dependent upon revenue generated from providing healthcare services and contributions to the Prowers Medical Center Foundation.
Our greatest asset is our people. We have assembled a dedicated staff of highly qualified healthcare professionals to meet the needs of our patients.
