About Peekabootique
Peekabootique is a landmark childrens' shop on Castro at 24th Street in San Francisco's Noe Valley. We have a 20+ year history as the city's only childrens' resale shop that buys, sells and trades directly with store customers. Peekabootique also has the distinction of being the only kids (resale) store in San Francisco that conveniently pays cash for goods with no consignment delays.
The exterior's bright orange awning and the interior's cheerful decor were redesigned in 2006 by partners, Mike Stanton and Michele Furlong. We have created a vibrant and thriving retail gem. Our philosophy blends a "more is more" collection of toys and gifts juxtaposed with a "no nonsense" philosophy of simple offerings of onesies and sippy cups that make a parent's shopping all-inclusive.

Peekabootique is a one-of-a-kind hybrid which mixes resale along with new, practical items that are requested by parents. New shoes, socks, sunscreen, hats, undies, pj's, baby gifts, educational toys, teethers & ballet gear are readily available. Every new item in the store is “baby and child†safe. All new items meet the Consumer Product Safety Information Act (CPSIA) standards for lead and phthalates. Our plastics are all BPA free and all of our sunscreens rank in the top 10 on the Environmental Working Group's safe sunscreen list.
Because kids grow so fast, we take pride in offering these "outgrown†or â€slightly used" items to a new family at significant savings. Our Baby Bjorn's, Bumbo's, bouncy seats and swings are pristine when we purchase them from customers. Because we have a “wish list†in the store, we are happy to call the parents who are waiting for these items. In addition, all equipment is checked for CPSIA recall.
