NYC Addiction Resources has been instrumental in changing my life. I had been a daily drug user for nearly 17 years when I attended NYC Addiction Resources and I didn't believe that there was a future in which is didn't use drugs. During my time at NYC Addiction Resources, the staff, counsellors and peer support workers all helped me to develop a program of recovery which has allowed me to create a life free from the shackles of addiction. This is not simply a drug and alco hol rehabilitation program. Through a skillful combination of therapy, community accountability, education and consistent lifestyle change, NYC Addiction Resources has facilitated me to transform my entire self.

I was incredibly lost and broken when I came to NYC Addiction Resources. I was full of anger and fear and I was unable to function without alcohol in my system. NYC Addiction Resources is wonderful. They taught me how to deal with my stress and depression in life. I learned alternative ways of handling life without turning to dr ugs or alco hol. They literally saved my life. I went to NYC Addiction Resources to simply be able to go be a hermit in the woods alone without wanting to die. I now have a future worth fighting for seeking my own take on Gross National Happiness.

This place gives me hope that I never had. I have been able to face life with the help of the crew here and the guidance of the one on one help they offer from the tech all the way up to owner. When the staff will show up at your sober living home at 11:00 pm when they know someone is having a bad day just to be there for you on their time off then you know they care!

NYC addiction resources helped my sister get into an alcohol detox in New York City. This ordeal with her was just awful and depressing but their counselor, that I spoke with, gave me options to the best treatment centers in the area. They took the time and spoke to my parents also because they had no clue what addiction was and what the process would be. I can't thank them enough for helping my sister get into a detox center. She is still sober today.
