Northwest Geotech Inc., (NGI) has conducted business since 1983 with the successful completion of over 8,000 projects. For over 25 years NGI has operated under the same ownership and management group since its founding. This has contributed to maintaining a reputation as a stable, professional firm of integrity. In addition, as a locally owned Oregon-based business, NGI's focus is on serving the needs of the Pacific Northwest and building long term business relationships based on a high standard of work. NGI was founded to provide geotechnical and environmental assistance to private and public projects. As the company has grown, services have been expanded to include special inspection and in-house laboratory construction materials testing. The principals of the firm have extensive experience with projects requiring soils and foundation engineering, engineering geology, and environmental site assessments. NGI also offers full service construction monitoring and testing facilities which are approved by the International Accreditation Service, Oregon Building Officials Association, Washington Association of Building Officials, the City of Portland Bureau of Development Services, US Army Corps of Engineers and The Oregon Department of Transportation. Northwest Testing Inc., (NTI) is a division of Northwest Geotech.
