Nest Finders

Only giving 1 star because zero wasn't an option. Rented same house for 8 years . I think we may have had 2 maintenance calls during that time. Also we had at least 8 inspections (during Covid we had to send pictures). We finally bought a house this year and gave a 60 day notice to vacate. We were told not to worry so much about carpet because it was never changed out prior to our moving in so it's at least 10 years old. The paint was also never redone before we moved in. Per our move out packet we were to fill holes in walls, check all light bulbs throughout and thoroughly clean ( we hired a cleaning company that specialized in move in/ out cleaning.) cost roughly 450$.also paid to have outside of house driveway etc pressure washed. We have been out since July 3, and have been calling regarding our 2000 deposit . Suzanne our property manager will not return calls, and basically only responds to text. If you get her Assistant you will be told she will call back and she does not. We find out this week via the tenant portal not only are they keeping the 2000 deposit but that we owe 625 more for what they are calling " nicotine and pet odor smell and film all over everything. WE DONT SMOKE we I did text with Suzanne she said well then it's soot from candles!! What?? How can this be we had the house professionally cleaned ! Also we were charged 75 burned out light bulbs which is a lie The only lightbulb we did not change was the one on the back porch that never worked the entire time we lived there also they said broken blinds ( there was one in the kitchen that was taped with scotch tape when we moved in. My question is if that house smelled horrible and had a black film all over it why was never noted in any inspection. The last inspection was done I believe the end of January. I guess this mysterious film happened after that. They did NOT do a walk through with us before we left ( which concerned me), and I should have requested that. Just asked us to turn in invoice from having it cleaned with keys. I do not think they ever planned to give us our deposit back so if you're renting with them, I would make sure to get a walk-through inspection before you turn in your keys. Would never recommend this company ever. I have a coworker that currently rents with them and I have warned them.

Working with Nest Finders has been an absolute pleasure! If you're looking for someone to set honest expectations and deliver with excellence, look no further!

I was calling to inquire about a home to possibly move into. I was treated with total disrespect. This woman hung up on me after telling me that I did not meet the requirements to move in. The post said that tenants are required to move in within 30 days. I chose that option and still was kicked back. The person on the phone was seemingly nice until she felt the need to argue entirely about this small misunderstanding and refused to help me through this small speed bump in the process. She rejected me also due to the fact that I have a service animal. Hung up on me and won't answer the phone. I left a message and plan to also report this angency to the city. They did not give me a fair chance to even look at the property. 10 out of 10 don't recommend.

Nest Finders was very responsive to my request for work to be done on one of their properties. I reached out to them via live chat on a weekend, did not expect an answer that same day, for the work to be quickly completed, and for a follow up note to be sent my way letting me know the work had been completed. Very impressed.

The people at Nest Finders are so friendly. They showed me house that were clean and ready to move in. They are a great company to business with. Thank ya again for the help

I started renting through Nest Finders in 2022, and just resigned through 2024. Very professional property management company. I have had a few (normal) maintenance issues, and they have always been super fast to respond and send a tech out for the repair. Nothing but great things to say about the entire office! Ann, Maria, and Sabrina have been nothing but helpful and made my rental experience 5 stars ??????????
