Come to the Montessori School of Salt Lake, near the mouth of Millcreek Canyon on the East Bench of Salt Lake City.We have children from age 20 months to 8 years of age (preschool thru grade 3) in our program and offer a wide range of experiences such as: *Sensory - children discover the world and become familiar with size, shape, color, weight, tone and smell*Math - children learn to associate numerals with objects and then move on to more difficult exercises and concepts*Language - children learn and sound out the alphabet and then build words using the letters.*Practical Life - children learn how to develop better control and coordination, as well as daily habitsThese are all done at the child's pace of learning without constant pushing from teachers.We also offer After School Tutoring for those that may want or need additional help for their child in all core subjects at very reasonable rates.Extended hours for before and after school child care are offered, as well as Summer Camp with Field Trips and classes such as Swimming and Dance.
