Atlanta Health Careers is certified through the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education
Commission (NPEC) for seven of its healthcare programs. The one exception is that the Georgia
Healthcare Partnership provides Atlanta Health Careers certification for the Nursing Assistant
program. If successful, nursing assistant candidates will receive their credentials from the state of
Georgia. Upon completion of their respective programs, students are eligible to sit for appropriate
exams (such as the National Center of Competency Testing for the Patient Care Technician,
Phlebotomy, ECG/EKG and Medical Assistant license and the ARDMS exams for Diagnostic
Medical Sonography).

I am graduating McDonough Health Careers Institute in Georgia. I feel that overall the school and education provided was wonderful. The teachers were very helpful including some student. Report cards was passed out every mid-term so you can keep track of how you are doing. I personally feel that the staff go far out of there way to make sure you are successful.Report
