About Maura Catherine Slaven, NP

Maura Slaven, DNP, has many years of experience in both acute care hospital nursing as well as in outpatient clinical nursing. She is passionate about providing quality and patient-oriented care, integrity, and attention to detail. Slaven earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans. She later completed a Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nurse Practitioner degrees, both from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La. She is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
