"thoroughness." With the acquisition of scanning laser ophthalmoscope technology wide field photographs are available to complement the dilation that is required with every exam. If not covered by insurance, we assess a nominal charge of $39 for this state of the art test.
Other services include contact lenses, eyeglasses and primary care optometry which includes management of red eye, foreign bodies, dry eye and keratoconus.
Co management of LASIK (laser correction of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism), glaucoma and cataracts is shared with referring ophthalmologists. I also try to communicate with the patient's primary care provider as permitted by the patient.
