She is always eager to keep learning about the criminal process and was very curious as to how the prosecution side of the criminal justice system worked. To learn more about the prosecutorial side, she became an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, which allowed her to gain insight and trial experience working as a prosecutor.

However, her plan was to always return to being a criminal defense attorney, and now her goal has once again become realized.
