Disclaimer.
I do not think this hotel represents all Holiday inn locations.
This review is specifically for the Greenbelt location.
As much as they projects cleanliness
My room does not reflect that.
It does not looked cleaned
I doubt it was inspected before tagged to be ready for anyone to check in.
Food crumbs, cob webs and stained carpet and ceiling where clearly visible.
No staff reached out, even after compliant.
I checked out early to keep my calm.

The Greenbelt Holiday Inn is clearly aging, but nonetheless gave us a clean and pleasant place to stay, My only complaints are two-fold. First, the breakfast is very overpriced for what you get, although the food was fine. You spent $15 per person and get plastic flatware. There were only four hot offerings. Second, there were two men arguing very loudly near the front door about 2:00am. This would have been in the hearing of the front desk, but nothing was done to either stop the argument or move the men away.

The Hispanic guy at the front was so rude! I originally opted out of completing a survey at the end of the call but once I completed the call I had to call back JUST SO I CAN leave a surgery review. So rude. Hung up on me mid-sentence. That is so rude. He says because his coworker was next to him and he couldn't hear me. I called back and asked to speak to someone about Lee and he stated he's the only one there. Which is it? You're the only one there, or are they there too loud?! ?????

If I could give it zero stars I would. My husband is a traveling nurse. He booked this hotel because it is close to the hospital he is at until he can find a room for rent. When booking his stay, he asked the lady at the front desk if he could have a later check out time. Since he works nights.. he will be sleeping until 5pm. She said that would be fine and booked him his stay. Today he was abruptly woken up and demanded to leave. He told them that he had requested a later check out time and they said he didn't. Basically calling him a liar. How disrespectful and unprofessional. They forced him to leave or book another night. He doesn't need another night because HE WILL BE AT WORK. And now he has to waste money on a hotel room for 4 hours or sleep in his car until his shift. And we thought hospitals were treating our nurses bad ? we will never be booking with holiday inn again. And I recommend you find somewhere else to stay too.

This is one of those end of life hotels. It is very very old and it smells funny, like those old hotels. It has not been upgraded in a long time. Even the white towels has spots and smells. IHG should not allow such property to remain as Holiday Inn. This is really bad for the reputation of IHG and Holiday Inn brand.

Our stay would have been highly rated if it wasn't for a poor handling of the tv not working on the first night we checked in. A grown man with a pony tail working the front desk was not busy at all and chose to get me off the phone by telling me there was a customer he was helping and would call me back. He didn't ask for the room number and didn't call back or try to find us even though he just checked us in. He didn't apologize or say anything to us the next night. Instead just sat there trying to rap to another employee.

Other than that it was an average stay at a hotel.

Extremely poor hotel. Old, nothing like the pictures. Needs immediate renovation. Prime area and location but looking like an abandoned building. Management needs to take advantage of the location. I will not advise anyone to stay here until the place is ut back in proper shape for its cost and standard.
