Friendly staff, nice size room and decent room. Downside was bar wasn't open, surprise parking charges and really small bathroom. The bathroom vent had a lot of dust build up that you could see, so not very clean.

I was visiting with colleagues for business - normally stay at another HI property nearby, but tried this one for its proximity to the tourist area.

The overall experience was good, but there were a few little things that were noticed: paper coffee cups at breakfast and a few broken USB charging ports - a little bit of maintenance would make this an excellent property to visit.

I got a good price through my travel service, so it was good for me. Valet parking was a bit more of an expense than I expected, but downtown parking is what it is. I'd visit again.

The downtown location is rather expensive but understandable considering the surrounding activites; however the site needs updating. When I arrived on yesterday and was given my room key to the 9th floor, the key didnt work. I had to go nack to the lobby to get rekeyed. I came back to my room and the door still did not open. A worker tried to use her key and it didnt work either. I went back to the lobby and maintenance was called. He went back up with me and his key didnt work either so they moved us to a room down the hall. We went in and waited a minute and maintenance came back and said he had placed us in the wrong room! I am angry at this point but we moved across the hall. It was cold in the room so I turned the heat up to 80. After 2 hours, the temp was still at 68. I called the front desk to report the coldness and she said there was nothing wrong..but maintenance would need to pysh a button to switch to heat..so maintenance had to come back. He did something but it never got above 68 in the room with the temp still on 80. I asked him why the fridge wasnt getting cold..he disc4tjar it was unplugged! Also, there was a huge stain on the carpet that looked like uncleaned blood! I took pictures and will show to management. I feel like I paid much too much money for this type of service and would like to discuss!

Upon my arrival to the hotel, I was greeted with a smiling face and an expedited check in process. The valet parking was definitely a plus to the check in process. When I got yo my room, I was totally impressed with the beautiful drapes and bedding. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

This hotel was picked solely on location and availability. The cleanliness of the bathroom was terrible. The shower was still dirty, we had a stained towel, and the shower walls were held up with thumbtacks. The AC unit was SO LOUD. Every 10-15 minutes it sounded like someone was throwing bowling balls in the vents next to our bed. I have never heard anything like it , it sounded broken.
I also noticed when I was unpacking I had forgotten toothpaste, so I went to the front desk and asked if they had any to give guests (there is a sign in the bathroom saying to ask front desk if you forget any basic toiletries). The man working when I asked looked at me like I was crazy and didn't even respond. He did hand me a packet of toothpaste but then turned around and didn't say anything. I'm not looking for a conversation but there is no need for rude facial expressions for an easy request.

I now know that they jacked up the rates by about $150 per night because of a marathon this weekend, this should have been mentioned upon booking. Entire area around the hotel had blocked streets Friday and until afternoon Saturday, they even had the entrance and exit to their parking garage blocked, no one was allowed to leave. This ruined our anniversary weekend, we had no idea this event was going on. Upon arrival, we were ignored by the valet and watched him check numerous others in ahead of us. The girl at the desk spent all of her time looking at her phone, every time we walked past that's all we saw, her looking at her phone. A hotel of this size only has 6 luggage carts, and people do not return them after use and the staff doesn't try to find them. I don't think we will stay here again even at their regular rates
