Holiday Inn Clark - Newark Area

1. Hair all over the shower floor and walls
2. Freezing cold-sounded like a window was open and cold air coming in. Had thermostat set to 70 overnight and still had to wear long pants to bed
3. Front desk folks were not friendly-clearly wanted to get me out of there as soon as possible. Woman at check in wearing mask around her chin
4. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee station was dirty and disheveled.

Staff didn't know the status of their own restaurant. They didn't know if it was open or closed. The room was ok. The water pressure in the room was weak. The toilet didn't work right. The building needs to be refurbished. The room was reasonably clean. But you could tell at one time it was a different hotel.

Helpful staff and rooms were very clean. Would stay here again on next business trip.

I needed to place to stay when my house came down with COVID. A very comfortable stay. Always hit water and great water pressure. More amenities than your average hotel

Staff was polite and courteous, room was ready on time and clean. Rates were very reasonable.

We stay here about once or twice a month as we have family in the area, and are thinking about relocating here.

We've stayed at other area hotels and this is our favorite. Why?

We like the rooms - big windows with light and super comfortable beds. Lots of space to move around in. They have a great layout with desk, television in front of the bed, and comfortable corner chair for reading. The value is good for what you get.

The staff is super friendly, and we're getting to know many of them. Chrystal was very helpful in our last visit. We love seeing Cecilia in the restaurant - coffee area. Love the fresh coffee available to guests in the morning. It helps to have the take-out food to buy for breakfast, too.

The staff tries to accommodate our room requests.

Did I mention the comfortable bed and pillows? We will look forward to returning soon. The hotel is always clean and we've found it to be quiet even when it's full.
