Katie Casey and Marie Warden opened Harper Paige Salon in September 2011 as a refuge for those seeking classic styles with a modern twist. Nestled on the second floor of an antique building in the Union Square district of San Francisco, their concept was to offer upscale service in an intimate setting. This idea was manifested by including a couch to lounge on and boxed wine served in mason jars. Kick up your heels and and take in the view of their custom-built “live wall,” a beautiful collection of plants used to offset any chemicals used in the salon. Katie and Marie are both famed colorists whose talents include ombre, balayage, highlights, and full color. They are style experts who have created a unique culture that feels retro chic meets biker bohemian. Their creativity is contageous, and when asked how they want customers to feel responded, “at home” and “pretty.”
