Spring residents just got a new and unique place to board their pets. Family Pet Retreat, LLC is quickly becoming the area’s best all-inclusive indoor/outdoor dog care facility offering daycare, boarding, and grooming.
Owners Antonio and Miriam Saravia opened the facility in June, with the mission to deliver a top-notch experience for the dog(s), and their owners, by providing a fun, safe environment where the animals can be stimulated through interaction. The couple started in the pet care business when Miriam, a teacher of 14 years, began taking in her colleagues’ pets because they were unhappy with the care their animals received while they were away.
“So many of our friends were having bad experiences at the kennels they used so Miriam offered to give their ‘babies’ the love and attention they needed right in our home,” Antonio shared.
