EVEN Hotel Omaha Downtown - Old Market

I've stayed at the Even hotel a few times but this last stay was horrible. I'm a travel RN and I use my healthcare worker discount for my stays. I normally pay 70 a night plus tax. I was originally charged 126.91. Raymond the Assistant GM at that time refunded me 35.37 to make the difference up. This was November 19,2021. Almost a month later a charge posted to my account for 35.37 (the refunded amount) on Dec 15,2021, almost a whole month later. I called the hotel and inquired about this charge. There was nothing wrong with my room or a lingering balance. The owner Kirk. T decided to illegally charge my charge my card without my permission because at the time of my stay Raymond did not know that they were no longer offering that discount. I've reached out to Krick. T and still have yet to get a response. Regardless if the discount was no longer in place, it still should have been honored, because at that time Raymond was under the impression the hero act discount was still in place. Going back to charge my card almost a month later was and is not under no circumstances okay. Considering I did not approve of this charge and still do not approve of it. It is also very unprofessional of management and the owner Kirk not to return any of my calls about a concern with illegally charging my card without permission. I am highly disappointed with this issue I am still dealing with and hope to resolve it soon.

Had some great things in the room but also kind of minimalistic. The bed and tv were a little offset which made watching tv in bed odd. Very clean rooms and helpful staff. Did have an issue with a lot of kids in the hotel gym after hours just running around.

Excited to have our event there in February.

I love the rooms. Clean, spacious, and designed well. We stay here every time we are in Omaha.

We will definitely be staying here again! They were dog friendly, had a pool, and close to downtown fun! What else could you ask for?

Staff was great, room was clean and beds were comfortable. The "barn" style door for the bathroom is a weird choice, but it also serves as a closet door; unnecessary but functional I suppose. Shower needed some attention: the soap dispensers were falling apart, as was the shower handle. The shower head is a hose-style which is fine, but the adjustable bar shower holder didn't hold the shower head securely at all. Overall, those few things were pretty minor and I still enjoyed my stay.

Staying at the EVEN Hotel was remarkable! I will always look to stay at a wellness hotel from now on. The atmosphere was genuinely kind, clean, and modern. The workout facility was excellent along with the work out equipment in-room options for yoga, stretching, and Pilates. The room was spacious to stretch and the guided videos on the TV were an excellent feature. I loved having access to multiple organic tea options and filtered water. Next time I may use the option to have an exercise bike delivered to my room! I've never stayed in a hotel with such peace and quiet. The pillow options were also so nice and comfortable. Every detail was thought of - thank you!!

What an amazing experience! The workout equipment and tutorial in room was so nice, and the focus on health is great.

Tried the even on this trip to Creighton

Location is not as nice as staying in midtown or black stone but it was fine for this fast turnaround
