I was treated with respect and kindness As a father of 2 young kids (3 And 1) I wanted to get term life insurance in place should something happen to me, to make sure my family is protected as primary breadwinner. I was able to get 50k guaranteed from my employer but that didn't meet my needs. I applied twice through another popular insurance broker. Both quoted some approximate pricing, should I get approved. I thought it was a bit high but understandable being diabetic. Full medical exam and all and in the end after weeks of back and forth was denied due to Diabetes both times, even with an a1c in the mid 5s for the last few years with no complications.
