Tom and his team are quite simply the best garage crew in Denver. It took longer to pull the permit than build the garage! He was on time, reasonably priced, exceedingly friendly and professional, and makes a great custom product. I can't think of a better subcontractor I've ever worked with in 10 years of home building. Custom Garage Co. was the BEST! Tom stood out from the beginning when we received quotes from a few contractors. He came out and consulted with us - something others were not willing to do. He knows the city/county codes like the back of his hand and was able to give us advice on the best options for us. Hiring him was an easy decision. Throughout the project, Tom called us every day with updates on timing, next steps, etc. He checked in with us regularly to make sure we were satisfied with the progress on the project and the work that was done. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome. We've worked with many contractors in the past and Tom is the epitome of how contractors should do business. Tom is excellent to work with and our garage turned out great. It's an oversized 2 car garage, 24x25 feet (exactly 600 sq. ft.). We've had it for almost two years, and we are very happy with it. Tom is very responsive, with communication every step of the way and follows the timeline listed on the website. He is enthusiastic and makes the process easy, even with unexpected hurdles. Even one of his subcontractors told us he is one of the good contractors out there.

He knows his stuff so trust him. He makes good suggestions while staying within your budget. He wants you to be happy with the outcome. On the day of demolition, we ended up needing to tear out more concrete than expected but it was good advice and will ensure water doesn't drain into our garage. It also ended up where we needed a step at the back of our garage since there was a grade and he thought through the design that would make the most sense for ease of walking to our house from the garage. We are happy with the design he suggested.

We wanted several custom features and Tom willingly helped us achieve it. We wanted a hipped roof to match our house roof, taller walls to accommodate larger SUV's, an extra door and window, and James Hardie siding to withstand the hailstorms. We had to pay a little more for those features, but it was totally worth it. We offset some of those costs by doing some of our own labor and Tom was good with that too. We used our own electrician, did all the painting, and installed the garage door opener. He even worked with the city to get approval for a minor modification application so we could build the garage closer to the street. This was to keep the front of the garage on the same plane as the house and maintain aesthetics of the property. If we hadn't done this, the garage would have been at a weird angle to the house since our property is on a curve. Tom made this step very easy on us as well.

We had a couple of very minor details that needed fixing, and they were completed to our satisfaction so we are confident that if we have any issues in the future, he will be on it. We can tell that his heart is in this and he wants his customers happy. Thank you for a great building experience and a garage that we love. We highly recommend Tom and his team.

Tom and his team was outstanding the garage came in at a very competitive price level and he did not sway on his price whatsoever. Tom finished the garage in amazing speed and had many hurtles but never compromised on service.

Tom Hart and his crew at Custom Garage, Co. built me a two-car garage with one bay, finished out as a workout space/studio. It was a complicated project, but he managed the permitting with the city and the work onsite with care and a can-do attitude. We had challenges, but no matter what came up, Tom dealt with EVERYTHING in a professional and timely way. He is a great communicator and a true pleasure to work with. He only does things the right way and totally stands behind his work. Highly recommend.

so stuff happens when you engage a GC. Many times out of the control of the GC, but sometimes within. All you can ask for is that they communicate and are honest. Tom is both a great communicator and as straight forward and honest as they come. He's a model for other GCs. Great guy. If you go this route you won't be disappointed.

Tom and team built a brand new detached garage for us at our home in Berkeley-Regis. To say that we are pleased is an understatement. Tom was professional, communicative, fair, and kept me updated daily on the progress. All of his crew were also great to work with. During these times of COVID, and having to work around two dogs that still needed access to the backyard while they worked I appreciated the interactions with everyone.

We now have a safe and dry place to park our vehicle accessible from our alley. Our invoice in the end matched our original quote, and we could not be happier with the end result.
