Crowne Plaza Pittsfield-Berkshires

Parking should be closer and more secure. Not sure a public lot which is not near hotel is secure. Need to get parking garage fixed and available for guests.

The Hotel is conveniently located downtown. An easy stroll to the Colonial Theater. We stayed overnight after seeing White Christmas at the Colonial Theater. We had dinner at the 101 restaurant, which we highly recommend, the food was excellent.

This is a great place to stay. Getting there from NYC is a drag as there is very limited public transportation available. No Bus service during normal work hours Tuesday , Wednesday and Thursday. One train late in the afternoon from Albany. I had to take a Cab from Hudson Amtrak.
Not a Hotel issue but they should be talking to the Pittsfield leaders so they could put some pressure on the transportation people.

We booked a five day stay over Thanksgiving weekend. Very satisfied with staff and room condition, BUT, parking sucks.
Pittsfield had over 7 inches of snow, there are only 2 handicap spaces in the front parking area. We had to park in a local bank parking and then walk back to hotel in the snow.

Parking garage was condemned 10 years ago. Walking from the off site parking lot in the cold sucks.

Positive: The hotel has a great location, friendly helpful staff, and spacious lovely rooms. Negative: The parking ramp was closed which required us to park in a less convenient location.

Whenever we are in the area this is the hotel my wife and I stay at the staff go out of their way to make your stay priceless great amenities new restaurant if you're in the area you won't be disappointed with this hotel and once again thank you Grace for making our Thanksgiving special can't wait for our next visit
