Crowne Plaza Chicago SW - Burr Ridge

I booked 2 nights through HotelTonight. On my first night, I went out to my car and there was strong odor of marijuana through the floor that eventually made it into my room. I did let the hotel front desk know. I left the following morning and checked out early. They did offer me another room the AM I left, but I didn't want to stay in the hotel any longer. It was relatively inexpensive to stay there and I suspect it is being used for partying for this reason. They would not provide any refund as it was paid for in full prior to my arrival through 3rd party site.

Other more minor issue would be that no hand soap in the bathrooms and no shower gel/soap for showing. Have to provide your own.

Terrific friendly masked staff.. Nice joint..

Nice hotel to go to. Clean, great staff, needs to go back to the full menue.

Paper thin walls, staff does care about health or safety of there guests , no free breakfast, mold in bathroom, just a horrible hotel

Considering the location near the expressway, you might expect there to be some background noise however the rooms are very quiet making this hotel a good choice.

This hotel worked well for my business travel. The staff was nice and helpful, the location is good, it was clean and the bed comfortable. There is a decent bar to grab a drink at the end of the day. Starbucks is nearby, along with some nice restaurants and good shopping.

The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms and lobby need better amenities and updating.

Could be nice if bar were open, if shuttle would run, if rooms were cleaned daily, if ice machines were working…it's a hassle to go to the front desk for everything
