Cornerstone Martial Arts & Leadership Academy

My son absolutely LOVES Cornerstone. Mr. Westbrook does an excellent job at balancing a strong work ethic, discipline, and fun. The rank exams are also exciting for the kids and a great way to show them that rewards come from hard work and practice.

We've recently returned to Cornerstone Martial Arts from being out over the first year of the pandemic. Although the school has grown and procedures have changed, the professionalism, dedication and commitment to the art is still clearly visible by the staff. Mr Westbrook's passion for martial arts displays through his teaching of his class. His focus on structure and discipline are life lessons being instilled in the kids. Mr Greene's love for the art and teaching shows through his patience. Both instructors are invaluable. My son loves the program. I love the program and art for him. I can see the growth and confidence in him.

I really enjoy this place the atmosphere is great and my son is taking to it well. Master Westbrook is great with kids and is able to work with all kinds of learners.

Thanks so much! Being a Certified Instructor at Cornerstone requires many, MANY hours of training exactly on this specific subject...it's nice to hear from a parent that it shows! ???

My daughter has been going to Cornerstone for a while now and has learned so much and made great friends. Master Delaney and Master Westbrook are great role models for the kiddos!!

I went to this location to meet with Mr Delaney to discuss martial arts for my children. He was clearly very knowledge and spent time showing me the studio and explaining the program. When I told him our budget was very meager, he didn't get upset or try to get pushy with some sales tactics. He made some suggestions on alternatives in the area and happily said that if he could help get my kids started in karate than he was doing his job.

To me that speaks highly of his character and makes me want to refer everyone to check out the school. He just really seems to care and want to help!

My 5-year-old daughter has been a part of this academy for 2 years and she loves it! She has grown and learned so much from the wonderful instructors here and we are very thankful for them. They treat everyone like family, and we are very lucky to have found our forever karate home. If you have been on the fence about joining a program, don't be. Take the plunge and talk with Master Dulaney about getting signed up. You won't regret it!

My daughter is growing and becoming a more responsible young lady, a big part of that is because of the values and dedication she is learning here. I love how welcoming and inclusive this school is. The Halloween party was fantastic and we're looking forward to game night. The teachers are very knowledgeable and understanding.
