Established in 2017.
Our shop might be new to the area, but we're not. After finishing at the Lansing Barber College in 2016, Chris Lapham knew Avenue Barber Shop couldn't be anywhere else except Grand Rapids. So we dug old, antique stuff out of storage and he opened up shop that offered men quality traditional haircuts, hot towel shaves, and beard trims while offering tremendous customer service.

Avenue Barber Shop's paying homage to the barbershops of the 40's and 50's with their specialty in traditional cuts. Their attention to detail and quality doesn't stop with your hair cut though. Get your neck and face cleaned up with a traditional hot towel shave with aftershave. Keeping the beard, but tired of looking scraggly? We'll trim you up and send you out looking put-together.
Specialties go further than just services though. We value our patrons and their walks of life so we offer a punch card service and a military discount as our way of saying thanks.
