I am not a traditional photographer, I am an artist. I do very few traditional shots. My style is stylish, playful & fun mixed with a whole lotta heart & soul! I approach each couple as unique, and so for each wedding I tell a story, each one special, creative and one of a kind.... Your story! No carbon copies here! :)

MY LOVE TRUTH
I believe love can last a lifetime. Although I am not an expert on the subject, I am in my seventh year of marriage to my amazing hubby! This hasn't just happened, it takes work (in a good way). I believe love needs care. Like the love and care you'd give to a puppy or a child.

I believe this care for your relationship should be full of adventure, playfulness, fun and tons of laughter! I also feel that after the wedding and even after kids you should still be dating your hubby!

This core belief in adventure, fun, laughter and love is what I strive for in my work as well. I want my couples to play and have fun and fall in love all over again. Not only during a session but every time they see their images.

I create a space for couples just to be. You know... be silly, be playful, be loving... you get the idea. :) In my photographic quest to capture loving couples, I also feel it's super important to love or at least like your photographer a whole lot! Like chocolate a lot!

I wanna work with couples who not only love one another but who want someone who will invest time in them and into to telling their story. I don't want to just be another vendor, I want to be more... your personal stylist, your adviser, and your trusted story teller.

I've always been an artist, it runs in the family :). But I made it official in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography & Painting, as well an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. I use my background to create original works of art for my clients. In addition to my own photography business, I also style for several local businesses. Styling has helped me provide clients with the ultimate engagement & wedding art that looks like it's right off the pages of a magazine... and many of them have been (don't believe me... click here to check it out lol :).

A LITTLE PIECE OF ME
I'm a wedding photographer based out of Appleton, Wisconsin. I'm a wifey, mom, foodie, lover of relationships, coffee, music, art, photography & travel. It feeds my soul every time I see someone's reaction to their images. It is more to me than just capturing images, it's about being a small part of bringing happiness and joy into others' lives! I love the stories behind each couple's relationship, how they met, how he proposed, etc. I'm committed to each and every one of my couples and telling their stories. Which is why I only take a limited amount of commissions per year. You & your story is unique and special and not just a number.

FYI:
I am a huge believer in the engagement session, I feel it is a huge part of getting to know one another better. It builds trust and the relationship between myself and my couples. I feel a wedding is a special and very important day and your photographer spends a large portion of that day with you, it should be with someone you can trust and feel confident that they have it covered. Your only job on your day is just to enjoy it and have fun, oh and to say I do, don't forget to say I do! :)

Side note: I am available for travel, near & far. I've done engagements + weddings in Mexico, Chicago, Idaho, Charlotte, Minneapolis, St. Paul and more, so don't be shy if you think your day is just too far. This Midwest photographer doesn't mind the airplane ride or those little Biscoff Two-Pack Cookies ha ha, they're ah-mazing!
