When it opened in 1963 our neighbor used to be called the Martin Cinerama. Roy Martin, a Georgia based steamship line tycoon decided to build facilities to house his fascination with new theatre projection techniques. He erected four theatres nationwide, one in the city hosting that years’ World’s Fair, Seattle. Years later the theatre was bought and sold and the Martin name eventually dropped. We wanted to recognize the influence the Martin family had on the neighborhood by resurrecting their name.

The Martin is working to gold LEED certification and is so green there’s even a garden on the rooftop patio. Super pet friendly too! The Martin offers a pet relief area and spa, fitness center, business center with 24th floor view conference room. Resident lounge has gourmet kitchen and media/gaming room.
