Prior to becoming a certified triathlon coach, I have been a nationally certified strength and conditioning coach for over 30 years. I have worked with athletes from all walks of life, varied physical capabilities, and age ranges.
My educational background gives me a strong advantage in knowing how the human body works, and my knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology gives my athletes an advantage since it allows me to coach them in a safe, scientific way to avoid injury and to design the correct training regimen for each athlete to get them to their athletic goals faster and safer.
As triathlon coach, I custom design each athlete's training plan from scratch. Each athlete is different, and so they should have a unique training plan to fit their life-style, work hours, family circumstances, and most important of all, their physical capabilities and areas of improvement.
My athletes get a bonus point that I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, so I design strength and conditioning programs to fit each individual athlete based on their fitness level and to streamline their strength program into their training plan.
I lead by example by staying at the top of my game physically and mentally by competing in triathlons, trail running and open-water races and in many endurance events.
We will take care of you from the ground up! Every athlete gets the one-on-one attention they deserve and you will be glad you signed up with us. We are proud to provide our triathletes with the following services:

Add ReviewI was afraid to set up training with a personal fitness trainer, especially after my first experience a few years ago went badly. My trainer then did not understand my goals, made me lift too heavy, and barked at me. I decidd I did not want to do this again, but after a few years of struggling with weight, diabetes, and other ailments, I needed help. I live in Bellevue, and looked at many listings for personal trainers in Bellevue trainers and made appointments. Some wanted to push their prices on me even before I met them, others wanted to sell me large packages and seemed more like car salesmen rather than fitness trainers. Ariend of a friend brought up the subject about this trainer (Marques)who's supposed to be really good. Reluctantly,I went to see Marques at The Powersource Fitness Studio in Bellevue. I realized immediately that Marques was exactly the opposite fo my last trainer. He's knowledgeable, smart, funny, witty, polite, and knew exactly how to handle me. I am very difficult in doing what I am told, but I needed the help to lose the weight and get firmer. He knew how to be respectful of me as a female. My goal was to lose 40 pounds by this past April. I lost it since February, and now my sessions are just to maintain what I have accomplished with his help. Thanks Marques.Report
