Holiday Inn Express Alexandria - Fort Belvoir

If you like your reservations being moved to a completely different hotel not even owned by IHG WITHOUT NOTICE then book here!!! I called to confirm my online reservation right before I boarded my flight and was told this location was "closed to the public" and that the reservation was moved to a different hotel and that the "manager had tried to call me". No missed calls, no vm and no email confirmation at all! If I had not called I would have showed up 10pm at night to a closed hotel with a child! Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable for travelers ESPECIALLY when my email details are on my reservation!!!

Excellent breakfast selection. We will choose to stay in this hotel next time.

We didn't stay here. They cancelled our reservation and didn't tell us until we were at the door and the folks inside said that the hotel was closed to the public.

It's not very professional we asked to put our Wendell Rewards point in and they did not give us the information when we got there not the same and then they said there was no availability walk-in that's the whole reason why we drove out there because they said they can add our points up at the desk got there and then someone else but there was no availability for walking maybe it was a misunderstanding I don't know but they could have been more professional on how they handle reward members.

Rooms were comfy , the AC was turning off and on but it had a nice breeze.Pool was great plus they have a hot tub overall nice suite and hope to come again
