Holiday Inn Alexandria - Carlyle

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location was great, the staff was so friendly, and the lobby bar was very cute. The room was very clean and the bathroom was as well. Not a very noisy hotel and enjoyed my entire stay.

This is a well maintained Holiday Inn. It is over 40 years old and in excellent shape. Staff is friendly, place is clean and up to date. The banquet facilities are very good. We had roast beef, dijon chicken, stuffed mushrooms, assorted pastries, chicken soup, etc. All delicious.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel for a quick stay this is an ok place, but be forewarned the parking lot is a pain to get in and out of. It is an accident waiting to happen. If you are a woman traveling alone, I do not recommend staying here. The parking is real dark at night and it is not in a good location .

Overall the hotel was nice. My only complaint was that my friends and I were placed in a handicap room and the shower soaked the floor every time we showered. Like swimming in the pool soaked.

Again, overall customer service was great, the security lady was great, the servers were, and the rooms were nice.

Good clean rooms, towels, bathrooms and coffee service in the room is helpful. They are doing a great job keeping up with cleaning the rooms all through Covid… I'll be back

Terrible customer service. We booked a king size room but when we went to our room we were given a queen. After going back down to the lobby, we found out they didn't have any queens but argued that it was the same price for king or queen. We paid $15 more than what the queen room was so no, it wasn't. After a ton of attitude and rudeness we asked for a refund and left. This was also while incredibly loud music was blasting in the hotel conference area at 11:45pm at night. Definitely won't be back here again.
