About Emmett's and Ethel's

Emmett's & Ethel's philosophy is all things being made fresh featuring Gourmet Hamburgers, Fresh French Fries, Halibut Fish n Chips. Restaurant is a Lehi, Utah Local Family Owned Restaurant.

In July of 2005 the original Emmett's Made Fresh opened for business in a small 14X16 shack on West Main Street in Lehi, Utah. The owners, Scott and Nancy were convinced that with 23,000 cars going by every day at just over 15 miles per hour and good food made fresh, success would be certain.

Scott and Nancy were right, business boomed from the first day. After three years Scott and Nancy decided that the shack wasn't big enough and purchased land two blocks to the East on Main Street. After a year of construction the new Emmett's & Ethel's opened with over 2800 square feet of space and seating for about 90 people.

The new Emmett's & Ethel's still maintains their philosophy of all things being made fresh featuring Gourmet Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Fresh Cut French Fries, Hand Breaded Onion Rings, and hand cut / hand breaded Halibut Fish n Chips. Added to the new menu was Chicken, Turkey, Pastrami, and Halibut sandwiches and the Ethel's Premium Ice Cream which includes ice cream parlor style sundaes (served in real glass dishes) and over the top milk shakes in literally hundreds of flavors.

Scott's middle name is Emmett, named after his Grandfather Emmett Rufus. Ethel was Scott's Grandmother. Emmett's is always looking for both Emmetts and Ethels and those who come in or bring in someone named Emmett or Ethel are rewarded with free lunch, a t-shirt and with their picture on the wall of fame at the store and on the website.
