The Red Oak Parks and Recreation department put on many yearly events such as ‘Red Oak White and Blue' around July 4th and their Fall Festival around Halloween. You'll also find special events nearby such as the Scarborough Renaissance Festival and Reindeer Manor Halloween Park! When you want to enjoy the great weather, nearby Red Oak Lake is open for fishing, or you can visit either of the nearby city parks! As much as this city loves to entertain, they also take school very seriously. Red Oak ISD has received several awards from TEA in recent years, but its track record goes well beyond that.
