Holiday Inn Express Frisco

I've stayed here in the past and it was ok. This time, it was very dirty. I've worked at hotels for years and the appearance would've never been acceptable. They are doing renovations. Couldn't give military discount because they need an override from management?? Short staffed. It took 15 min to get elevator from 4th floor. The ladies at the desk were sweet. I come to Frisco frequently....I might have to find another go to.

It was so bad that I had to switch rooms-there were stains on "clean" bedsheets, and they don't clean your room unless it's by "request". Bugs were coming out of the light switch in the washroom and crawling on the towels. Even when I requested a room cleaning the night before, my room still wasn't clean when I got back in. I had to go down to the front desk and verbally ask for soap and lotion. I got moved to a new room with the closet door ripped off, no working bathroom fan, and a piece of wadded up tissue paper in the peephole of the door which I did not put there. At least I didn't see bugs in the second room. No pool, no gym, nothing to do within the hotel whatsoever. Carpets are dirty, garbage is left in the hallways, and the front desk staff seems friendly, but lacks in customer service skills. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast, which is being served in a little "temporary" room right now, since there is zero leisure space due to these lengthy renovations. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.

Under construction. I think if a hotel is being renovated, that should be shared prior to booking.

How to improve: No construction, no tarps on walls that look like asbestos abatement is in progress, actual breakfast area (not a small room), hot water, cold air conditioning, no holes in the ceiling filled with trash bags, no light fixtures leaking water, beds made properly with tags at the foot, ceilings not peeling, friendly night staff that's not insulting, amenities listed in website

Very comfortable and very clean ? Perfect bed was wonderful. Do recommend.

Very bad management system. Room was uncleaned the entire 3-night stay. Had to beg for clean towels each of the 3 evenings. Dirty hallways...used band-aid on the elevator floor throughout my stay...wouldn't recommend this particular IHG hotel to my worst enemy.

Very dirty hotel...stayed there 3 straight nights and never got my room cleaned. As used Band-Aid was seen on the floor of the elevator the entire time. Hallways were dirty.
