Maverick Place

This is by far the worst student housing I have ever been associated with. DO NOT MOVE HERE if you are actually in school to learn. These apartments are far from ideal if you actually like to study at home and get a good nights rest. During the weekdays there is a fair amount of people who are completely inconsiderate of those around them and the noise level on the weekend is absolutely unbearable. The design of the halls channels every bit of noise to every other apartment on each floor. Cat calls, music, and unintelligible gibberish rain down from the balconies throughout the nights. There is definitely a lack of class within the populous. I have seen more than one person assaulted by large numbers on this property (very scary but very true). I fear for my safety and with all the complaints and police patrols nothing has been done to protect my interests at these apartments. The crime in the area is crazy. I wasn’t able to find Maverick Place on the apartment list of Arlington polices stats (probably because it it is new) but the beat list a variety of crime from public disturbance to murder ( http://www.arlingtonpd.org/CrimeStats/CrimeSearchDate.asp?SearchType=PRAfromMap&PRA0227=0227&submit=Continue ).BE WARY!
