Recently, a family member very dear to us told the story of an encounter she had - she's a realtor in Oklahoma.

She was representing a couple that was trying to buy a home being sold directly by the owner (FSBO). When presenting the owner with a list of requested repairs after the inspection, the man began to berate her and insult her chosen profession.

He recited a “fact” that Realtors are in the top 10 most hated people.

Being the woman that she is, she responded in a way that maybe 1% of all human beings could manage. With love and patience. We pray for a heart like that.

The thing is, we don't disagree that realtors have earned a bad reputation with many people.

They can be sales-y, pushy, greedy, and incompetent.

We've written and designed professionally printed booklets called, “What to expect when buying a home” and, “What to expect when selling your home” that we freely give to every client. They're great quick-reference guides for the home buying and selling process.

Tommy's been an avid woodworker and DIY'er for years now and it has been an absolute dream for him to incorporate that passion into our real estate business. We show you how to build things, show you recipes - even how to setup basic home automation devices (voice controlled lights and plugs!). And, there is so much more to come in this series.

Samantha has a passion for truly living life and helping others do the same. She loves being outdoors, serving at her church, almost any form of art, and she loves to travel and experience new places and cultures. Her greatest passion, however, is her family. She counts herself extremely blessed to have Tommy and their three amazing daughters.

When Tommy isn't spending time with Samantha and their three daughters, you can find him serving at their church or holed up in his wood shop He also plays, sings, writes, and records music. He received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a minor in Music from the University of Central Oklahoma.
