The Emergency hospital has full time veterinarians and qualified technical staff, so that whenever the emergency clinic is open, there is a veterinarian on premises. In addition, other area hospitals can transfer critical care cases from their clinics to the emergency clinic for continuous monitoring and care while those hospitals are closed.
ALL PATIENTS WILL NEED TO BE TRANSFERRED TO THE REFERRING VETERINARIAN BEFORE 8:00 AM THE FOLLOWING DAY. If your pet has been hospitalized, you will be given instructions for further care and directions for all prescribed medications.
Records of your visit will be faxed to your regular veterinarian for continuity of care, and radiographs may be sent with you to hand deliver. Please remember to make an follow-up appointments.
