Bath Fitter

I do not recommend this company. Their work is shoddy at best, they are not responsive and leave their clients with a mess. After meeting with multiple companies, Bath Fitter's replaced a bathtub with a shower at my parents house about 6-weeks ago after my Mother had an accident. They were on time, worked hard and installed quickly. However, when my parents went to utilize the shower 24-hours later on a Friday afternoon, as directed there was no water, zero. They called and were told to call back on Monday to schedule a technician to come back out, remove the shower and connect the water. Supposedly the Manager actually came with a worker to oversee the work. After that visit there was water but no hot water. My parents called again and left a message with a team member. No one called them back so they decided to stop by the "showroom" to ask for assistance. Upon that visit they were told that they would be called on Monday but no one called. Then July 4th came and went as they patiently waited for 2-weeks for a call. Finally after them complaining to me I decided to call myself and spoke to Katrice a Manager. She immediately had someone come out the very next day to correct the hot water issue. In addition to having no hot water the water was connected backwards. The original worker came, corrected the issue and was apologetic for not ensuring everything worked before he left the site. After 4-weeks of taking tempered showers my Mother was finally able to take a hot shower in her own home. NOW, nails are coming out of the sheetrock where the bathtub was replaced with a shower and the shower removed, twice to fix water issues. This is particiularly frustrating because my parents had their bathroom remodeled and updated a couple of years ago and have had zero issues up until now, when they decided to further the update and add a shower. I am quite disappointed in the quality of work for the price that was paid. You shouldn't take people's hard earned money and leave them with a situation worse than what they have. Shame on you. It appears that bath fitters has hired excellent salesmen but not team members who know how to install. My parents who are retired productive citizens are at the point where they are experiencing health issues and knowing that I cannot depend on this company to take good care of them is very upsetting to me. DO NOT use this company, they do not care about their customers. Apparently they are all about taking your money and not ensuring the work is quality.

Their materials is cheap and the rep that came out really talked bad about other companies..I also don't like the get it today for this price bc tomorrow it's $3,000 more.

Bath fitter replaced my shower stall about six months ago. Installation was perfect salesman was on time and very informative no complaints about either. My problem is with the bottom of the shower stall. Right after installation I did ask about water staying in the corners of the shower stall and not draining properly. Bath fitter came out inspected the shower pan drain angle. I was told it was properly installed and water would drain after a few minutes. Since that time I have continued to have the same problem. Water from the shower does not drain off the lip of the pan nor does it drain from the back corners. Also the dimples in the shower floor collect water and if not dried with a towel after each shower the result within a day is shown in the attached picture.
I am 73 years old and my husband is 77. After such an expensive “well designed” product I did not anticipate this cleaning to be necessary.
I suggest a redesign of the pan/bottom of the shower to correct this irritating problem. Older folks beware you might bite off more than you can chew.

The installer at this Bath Fitter was awesome, I believe Chris was his name. He gets 5 stars. During the sales process we asked the the sales guy (Brian Blum) about putting a shower head with a filter on and he said that they don't have any filters but would be able to put one on. He specifically said that they would have to do it in order for us to keep the lifetime warranty. Our unit was installed last week (very well done) and this week I'm calling to find out how to get the filter installed. Spoke with Randa yesterday and she said she would look into it and that she would "call me right back." After 2 hours I figured I better call since they close at 4 PM (I found out the hard way when I tried to call at 4:05 on Monday). She said she would have to get hold of the lead installer and if she didn't call back that day, she would call back the next. Well, that's today. Since they close in a hour I figured I'd call. After some prodding she remembered me and said that they couldn't do that. So after all that, the answer was "We don't do that." I asked if she was planning on calling and she said that "someone" else was supposed to call. While the installer was great, I'm not having a good experience with the rest of the Bath Fitter team. They get 1-star.

Update: 5/20/22- So after I contacted the salesman (Brian) he got with management and they sent someone out to install the filter. Apparently Randa made it seem like I wanted them to install a completely different shower head system when all I needed them to do was swap out the shower heads (literally unscrew the existing and screw in the new one). I appreciate them cutting through the "red tape" and fulfilling their initial promise. Well done Bath Fitter!

Had contract to have my job done by October 1st but was not completed. As promised. They advertise that they can complete a job in one day, don't fall for that. The workers are very good at there job. But far as management that's a different story. There jobs are very pricey for the service you get. An don't try to contact the owner for customer service. I wouldn't refer any of my friends to use if time was valuable. An mine was being my wife is under going Cancer treatments
