About Dr. Bob Witchel

Dr. Bob Witchel, has had a psychotherapy practice in western PA since 1981, is a licensed psychologist, and a nationally certified counselor. His doctoral degree is from the University of Georgia (1973). Bob has practiced gestalt therapy since 1970 and has worked extensively with trauma and abuse survivors for over 25 years. He has been a professor of counseling at Indiana University of Pennsylvania since 1986. He is a member of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. Bob provides individual and group therapy, and marital and family counseling, and is a provider for major insurance companies.
