More About Aston Veterinary Hospital

Aston Veterinary Hospital has been caring for pets in Aston and Media — and greater Delaware County — for more than 60 years. We serve areas all throughout the region. We are a full-service, AAHA-certified, small animal facility providing professional health care for your pet. Today our knowledgeable veterinarians and dedicated tech staff provide the best care possible for your pets. This starts with state-of-the art diagnostics and wellness care. It also includes listening carefully to you, our partner in your pet's healthcare. Our hospital was founded in the late 1940s. In 1952, Dr. Buckwalter took over and operated the hospital for the next 30 years. Dr. Deborah Brzezinski bought the hospital in 1983. At the time, it was a solo-practice, but Dr. Brzezinski, with the help and support of her family and dedicated staff, grew the hospital over the years to six veterinarians and a staff of greater than 25 employees. The physical plant has undergone extensive renovation over the years, with the most recent expansion and upgrade taking place from 1987 to 1989. In the process, we have upgraded all functional areas, more than tripled the interior hospital space, all in an effort to better serve you and your wonderful pets. Our mission is “to be there for our clients,” and that means being available to you when you need us. We are closed only four days a year: New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We also one of few local hospitals open on Sundays. Stop in and see us! Our team of expert veterinarians and medical professionals will give your pet the best medical care to keep them happy and healthy.
