About Podiatry Care Specialists, PC

At Podiatry Care Specialists, we believe that keeping people active is the key to a healthy and happy lifestyle. Whether you are experiencing acute foot pain due to trauma, suffering a repetitive stress injury, or have other complications causing foot and ankle symptoms, our podiatrists are dedicated to helping patients of all ages to get back on their feet.

We can help you find lasting solutions for a wide range of foot conditions, including:

Heel and Arch Pain. One of the most common chronic issues our patients suffer is heel and arch pain. Problems in the muscles, bones, and tendons in your feet can be caused by a number of factors, such as repetitive strain, foot deformities, inflammation (such as plantar fasciitis), irregular bone growth (heel spurs), or other conditions. We can determine what is causing your pain and design a custom device to ease your symptoms and prevent the condition from coming back.

Sports Injuries. We keep your whole family—from weekend warriors to long-distance runners—active. Whether you have just started walking for fitness or are training for a 10k, we can help you recover from ankle sprain or strain injuries as soon as possible and prevent them from coming back. We also help many college athletes recover from sports injuries, from turf toe to an ankle injury.

Nail and Skin Care. Not only do the bones and muscles of your feet take a beating, but the skin and nails are almost entirely forgotten—until they begin to cause problems. We can treat a variety of skin and nail conditions, including fungal nail infections, athlete's foot, ingrown toenails, plantar warts, and other skin irritations such as blisters, corns, and calluses.

Diabetic Foot Care. Diabetes can have life-threatening consequences for a patient, and many of these symptoms first appear in a patient's feet. If blood sugar levels are not carefully controlled, a patient may lose feeling in his feet and legs (neuropathy). Loss of circulation makes it more likely that the patient will injure his feet without noticing, developing into an infection that results in amputation of the foot or the leg. Our podiatrists form lifelong relationships with our diabetic patients, providing ongoing preventive care to keep seniors healthy and free of diabetic complications.

Surgery. If your condition does not respond to conservative treatments, we can perform surgery as an alternative solution. Our podiatrists can rid you of painful bunions, reposition hammertoes, repair a ruptured tendon, or stabilize your ankle, and help you through the recovery process to make sure you are back on your feet as soon as possible.

The podiatrists and staff at Podiatry Care Specialists know that providing the best care to our patients is a team effort. That is why we educate our patients on all aspects of their conditions, including footwear, diet, and lifestyle choices, to help manage their symptoms and keep them healthy. We address our patients' concerns as they return to normal daily activities, and schedule follow-up visits to ensure the desired outcome. We also partner with other specialists when warranted, allowing our patients to benefit from a variety of treatment options.
